Soviet Mil V-12 Helicopter: First Flying Hotel
A soviet Mil V-12 helicopter has been modified to make it become the world’s biggest helicopter as well as the world’s first flying hotel. The experience is of course 5 star ranging from private entertainment systems to gaming and tea gardens! The specifications for this helicopter will tell you how exactly big this chopper is. It is 135 feet long and 45 feet high. It has the ability to lift a maximum load of 105 thousand kilos off the ground and can reach a maximum speed of 255 km/hour (158 miles/hour). Big is an understatement, I should have used mammoth! The inaugural flight is to take place on the 26th of June and the price is not being disclosed. So will the rich Sheikh who ordered an Airbus A380 for personal use change his mind?
Each soundproofed room is equipped with a queen-sized bed, fine linens, a mini-bar, coffee machine, wireless internet access, and all the luxurious appointments you’d expect from a flying five star hotel. Room service is available one hour after liftoff and prior to landing.”
